A Rectifier transformer is a special application transformer which includes diodes and thyristors in the same tank. Voltage regulation may also be included. Rectifier transformers are used for industrial processes.
A Six phase rectifier module consists of 5 limb transformer connected double star with diodes and thyristor for regulation.
This transformer is specially built to 6 phase and 12 pulse for minimum ripple noise & voltage drop.
